The company introduced a 25g ultra-light model featuring modular, replaceable frames designed for versatility across leisure and business settings. Utilizing proprietary resin diffractive waveguide technology, the device supports AI-driven features such as real-time translation, smart navigation, and voice assistance. Meta-Bounds Debuts Lightweight AI Eyewear Designs at SILMO Paris 2026
At the SILMO Paris 2026 trade show, Meta-Bounds has unveiled two distinct reference designs for AI-integrated eyewear, aiming to bridge the gap between high-performance functionality and everyday aesthetics. The debut signals a shift toward modular, lightweight hardware as the company seeks to push consumer-level smart glasses into the mainstream market.

For users requiring heavy-duty performance, Meta-Bounds showcased a 42g binocular system. This iteration integrates a 2000-nit high-brightness display, 12-MP cameras, and a noise-reduction audio array. The hardware is specifically targeted at professionals, students, and users with hearing impairments, positioning the device as a productivity tool rather than a novelty. Beyond these reference designs, the company presented two conceptual aesthetic styles—one inspired by organic forms and another by urban geometry—to challenge current design homogenization in the industry. Having secured 13 prototype generations and multiple CES innovation awards, Meta-Bounds continues to leverage its end-to-end supply chain to support partnerships with global firms including SoftBank, OPPO, and Lenovo.
