For nearly 30 years, YR Fitness has anchored its operations in in-house strength equipment manufacturing. While the company partners with specialists for cardio and accessory lines, it maintains strict oversight of quality control, including durability testing and final inspections. Founder George Yang stated that the company’s objective is to streamline the complex process of launching a facility by minimizing the number of suppliers and coordination points. By moving into design and fit-out, YR Fitness intends to act as a single point of contact from the initial empty-space planning to final after-sales support.

This shift allows gym operators to source everything from equipment customization to shipping through one channel, ensuring consistent commercial standards across multiple locations. The company, which currently serves clients in over 110 countries, plans to roll out these new services in phases, prioritizing market demand and individual project requirements. The strategy focuses on long-term supply consistency, helping operators manage spare parts and technical support through a unified system rather than juggling multiple vendors.
