The Brazilian healthcare landscape, home to approximately 7,100 hospitals, is currently undergoing a significant shift toward centralized, cloud-native diagnostic environments. Private hospital groups are increasingly prioritizing platforms that consolidate multiple specialties, a need that Sectra intends to meet with its modular enterprise imaging solution. The core of this offering, a vendor-neutral archive, allows facilities to expand their diagnostic capabilities across departments and locations.
Sectra Enters Brazilian Healthcare Market via S&S Partners Deal
Sectra has officially entered the Brazilian medical imaging market through a strategic partnership with S&S Partners. By deploying its Sectra One Cloud platform, the Swedish firm aims to capture a growing demand among private hospital groups transitioning from traditional on-premise infrastructure to scalable, subscription-based cloud services.

S&S Partners brings established local relationships and executive-level expertise in the regional medical technology sector to the collaboration. Having already begun commercial outreach, the firm recently engaged nearly 3,000 users across top-tier hospital accounts in anticipation of the Brazilian Radiology Congress. According to Torbjörn Kronander, President and CEO of Sectra, the partnership provides the necessary local insight to navigate the transition from capital-intensive equipment purchases to long-term software subscriptions in Latin America’s largest economy.
