Jaguar Uranium Cleared for Exploration at La Rosada Prospect
The Ministry of Environment of Chubut Province has granted Jaguar Uranium Corp. the environmental impact assessment approval for its La Rosada prospect. This permit authorizes the company to begin immediate field operations across 59,895 hectares, marking a significant expansion for the firm’s flagship Laguna Salada project in Argentina.
With the regulatory hurdle cleared, Jaguar plans to initiate a comprehensive exploration program as soon as the winter season subsides. The fieldwork will prioritize systematic geochemical mapping and radiometric grid surveys. Technical teams also intend to deploy electrical resistivity tomography to map deep fluvial paleochannels, a move CEO Steven Gold described as a vital step in advancing the company's broader exploration strategy for the territory.
