The series, scheduled for a 2027 premiere, draws from Brinkley’s extensive personal collection of home movies, journals, and artwork. Beyond the glitz of her modeling career, the episodes will detail her marriage to Billy Joel, the challenges of motherhood, and the 1994 helicopter crash that nearly claimed her life. FOX Nation president Lauren Petterson confirmed the network secured unprecedented access to these archives, framing the project as a raw, first-person portrait of the pop culture icon.
Christie Brinkley to Unveil Personal Archive in FOX Nation Docuseries
Five decades of fame, private heartbreak, and survival are coming to the screen as supermodel Christie Brinkley partners with FOX Nation for a three-part docuseries. Titled Uptown Girl: The Christie Brinkley Story, the project promises an intimate look at a life lived under the constant glare of the spotlight.
Brinkley describes the production as a journey through a roller coaster of highs and unexpected turns. Directed by Larissa Bills and produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television, the series blends contemporary footage with archival material to contrast the public image with the reality of her experiences. To build momentum, Brinkley will attend the MIPCOM market in Cannes this October, where she is set to receive a handprint ceremony as part of the city’s Chemin des Étoiles.
