Aegea Secures R$1.5 Billion in Third Quarter Funding
Aegea Saneamento e Participações S.A. has finalized R$1.5 billion in new financing deals since the second quarter of 2026, pushing the company’s total disbursed capital for the year to R$6 billion. The move underscores the sanitation firm's persistent ability to secure credit across diverse domestic market instruments.

Beyond domestic debentures, the company signed a mandate with IDB Invest in September for up to US$400 million to support Águas do Pará. These funds are slated for disbursement between 2027 and 2028. Aegea also confirmed that its major subsidiaries, Águas do Rio 1 and Águas do Rio 4, have completed their long-term financing arrangements through a mix of capital market activity and loans from BNDES and international lenders. According to Vice President of Finance Yaroslav Memrava Neto, these structures remain fully secured, requiring no further refinancing to meet the firm's ongoing investment obligations.
