Socfin Unveils Sustainability Roadmap Through 2031
Fribourg-based agro-industrial giant Socfin has launched a comprehensive sustainability strategy for 2026–2031, targeting its palm oil and rubber operations across Africa and Asia. The plan introduces a revamped Responsible Management Policy, aiming to synchronize environmental commitments with internal governance and supply chain transparency over the next five years.

Implementation will unfold in three distinct phases. The initial period through 2027 focuses on compliance and structural integrity, followed by a deployment phase in 2028 and 2029. By 2030, the group shifts its focus toward long-term performance monitoring and iterative improvement. Céline Schmitz, Head of Sustainability at Socfin, noted that the strategy bridges the gap between high-level commitments and measurable progress, providing a structured roadmap for the group’s diverse agricultural projects.
