Kemin Industries Taps Indesso to Expand Indonesian Food Tech Reach
A strategic shift for the regional food supply chain emerged on September 15, 2026, as Kemin Food Technologies – Asia formally appointed PT Indesso Niagatama as its exclusive distributor in Indonesia. The move aims to integrate Kemin’s global shelf-life and safety solutions with Indesso’s established local distribution network.

This expansion aligns with Kemin’s broader strategy of utilizing localized scientific support to drive market penetration. The company’s Customer Laboratory Services will play a critical role in this arrangement, offering Indonesian manufacturers tailored research to accelerate product development. With this agreement, Kemin continues its push to scale its specialty ingredient operations, which currently span over 120 countries and support diverse sectors including human health, nutrition, and food technology.
