The newly purchased facilities closed their doors on October 9 to undergo extensive renovations, including equipment upgrades and technology overhauls. Express Wash Concepts CEO John Roush stated that the move aims to strengthen the company’s network density across the Detroit and Flint markets. The sites are scheduled to reopen in mid-November under the Clean Express banner.
Express Wash Concepts Acquires Three CleanHub Car Washes in Detroit
Columbus-based operator Express Wash Concepts has acquired three CleanHub car wash sites in Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, and Oxford, pushing its total regional footprint to 21 locations. The deal marks a strategic consolidation for the company as it integrates the sites into its Clean Express Auto Wash brand.
Existing unlimited club members from CleanHub will transition to the premium Clean-est Ultra Unlimited Wash Club, receiving a discounted rate of $20 per month for half a year. During the renovation period, these members retain access to other company locations without incurring billing charges. The company intends to host grand opening events and a Free Wash Week once the sites resume operations.
