Bitty & Beau’s Coffee Scales Inclusive Mission Through Mobile Franchising

Eight mobile coffee cruisers are already serving customers across the United States, with another eight in production as the Wilmington-based company accelerates its expansion. The brand, founded by Amy and Ben Wright, is now recruiting entrepreneurs to operate these mobile units, aiming to pair local business ownership with inclusive employment.

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee Scales Inclusive Mission Through Mobile Franchising

The Bitty & Beau’s Coffee Cruiser provides a lower-overhead alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar storefronts, allowing franchisees to operate at festivals, corporate events, and schools. This model maintains the company’s core mission of hiring people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a focus that has seen the brand employ more than 500 individuals since its 2016 inception.

Prospective owners receive training, access to established supply chains, and ongoing support from the company’s North Carolina headquarters. By removing the need for a permanent retail location, the mobile franchise aims to attract entrepreneurs who prioritize social impact alongside commercial growth. Interested candidates can review the company’s Franchise Disclosure Document to evaluate territory availability and specific investment requirements as the fleet continues to grow nationwide.
