Standard Motor Products confirmed that Iles will remain in his post through the end of October to facilitate a handover.
Standard Motor Products CFO Nathan Iles to Resign
Nathan R. Iles will step down as Chief Financial Officer of Standard Motor Products on October 30, 2026, to join another public company. The automotive parts manufacturer has tapped board member James J. Burke to serve as interim CFO while the firm begins a search for a permanent successor.

James J. Burke brings significant institutional knowledge to the interim role, having previously served as the company’s CFO from 1999 to 2019. Following that tenure, he acted as Chief Operating Officer and, most recently, as an executive advisor. The company stated that this leadership change will not impact its strategic growth initiatives or its scheduled third-quarter earnings report, which is set for release on the morning of October 30, 2026.
