Hargreaves Lansdown has partnered with BNY Investments to introduce a money market fund (MMF) exclusively for its UK retail clients. Targeting an expected yield of 3.95 per cent, the fund aims to capture growing interest in cash management tools, particularly ahead of upcoming ISA rule changes. Data suggests the number of the firm's clients holding MMFs has surged 35 per cent over the past year, reflecting a broader shift toward institutional-style cash management.

Fidelity International is simultaneously diversifying its active ETF portfolio with the launch of its Dynamic Buffer range. The new UCITS ETFs, listed across major European exchanges including the London Stock Exchange, are designed to mitigate equity market drawdowns while maintaining long-term growth exposure. This addition brings Fidelity’s active ETF suite to 30 products, emphasizing a research-driven strategy that incorporates ESG factors.

Generali Investments is pivoting toward digital infrastructure by launching a natively-tokenized class of its Luxembourg-domiciled MMF. Utilizing distributed ledger technology, the firm seeks to automate unit administration and reduce settlement times. This move aligns with the rapid growth of the tokenized real-world asset market, which reached $39 billion by September 2026. Generali plans to use this initial rollout as a foundation for a wider, DLT-enabled investment ecosystem.
