Bethany Sensenig, a veteran biopharmaceutical executive with nearly 30 years of experience, has joined clinical research network CenExel to lead its financial and strategic operations. Her appointment marks the latest in a series of high-level management shifts aimed at scaling the Draper-based firm into a dominant national site network.
Her arrival follows the May appointment of Sy Pretorius as Chief Executive Officer. According to Pretorius, the expansion of the executive team is designed to support the firm’s commitment to investigators and patients as the clinical research landscape becomes increasingly complex. The company currently operates a network of Centers of Excellence across major U.S. metropolitan areas, focusing on the execution of intricate clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors.
