The new season captures the intense seven-week pursuit of a $70 million prize pool and the EWC Club Championship. Produced by This Machine, the series employs a vérité style to track a diverse cast of competitors, including VALORANT standout Jake "Boaster" Howlett, Mobile Legends star Vivi "Vivian" Indrawaty, and Counter-Strike veteran Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren. The narrative expands to include the perspectives of figures like chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen, who navigates his transition into the esports sphere.

Beyond the competitive matches, the documentary highlights the intersection of gaming, entertainment, and global culture. The series features appearances by high-profile figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Post Malone, reflecting the event's massive reach. Following the 2025 competition, which drew 750 million viewers and 350 million hours of watch time, the foundation is already looking ahead to the 2026 event in Paris, where the prize pool is set to climb to $75 million.
