These effects are accessible through the Govee Home App and compatible with a wide range of company products, including the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp, Govee Floor Lamp 3, and various smart bulb and strip light models.
Govee Launches Moana-Inspired Smart Lighting Effects
Ahead of the July 10 theatrical release of Disney’s live-action "Moana," Govee is integrating cinematic atmosphere into domestic spaces. The smart lighting manufacturer has debuted three custom effects within its mobile application, designed to mimic the oceanic and island aesthetics of the film across its existing hardware lineup.
CEO Eric Wu stated that the partnership aims to help users extend the film's narrative into their everyday environments. By leveraging the brand's existing DreamView and DaySync technologies, the company intends to synchronize these thematic colors with the user's home setup. The live-action "Moana," directed by Thomas Kail and starring Catherine Laga'aia and Dwayne Johnson, arrives in theaters on July 10, 2026.
