UBS Reshuffles Asia-Pacific Wealth Leadership

The changes, spanning from Taiwan to Australia, involve both internal promotions and the departure of two long-standing senior leaders.

In Taiwan, Damien Hsiao assumes the role of regional head for global wealth management, overseeing both domestic and international operations. Sherry Lin and Christine Lai will support this mandate as co-heads of the domestic business. Meanwhile, Peter Yang steps into the Singapore private wealth lead position, taking over for Dominique Boer, who is departing the bank alongside Henry Su to pursue external opportunities.

Operational oversight in the Philippines shifts to Conrad Huber, who adds the country’s business sector head role to his existing responsibilities for Indonesia, Japan International, and the bank’s global growth initiatives. He will be supported by deputy Kenny Ng. The expansion of leadership remits continues in Australia, where Andrew Bird consolidates his control over both domestic and international wealth units. Finally, Vineet Mehta joins the India International team as deputy business sector head, reporting functionally to global NRI coordinator Michael Baechli.
