The project utilizes the EN-226/8.X YE turbine model, specifically engineered for the low- to medium-wind conditions prevalent in Southeast Asian coastal waters. Deliveries are slated to begin in the second quarter of 2027. Beyond power generation, the initiative serves as a template for engineering and lifecycle maintenance in the ASEAN region, integrating artificial intelligence and digital management to improve infrastructure resilience.
Envision Energy and REE Energy Launch 200 MW Nearshore Wind Project
A 200 MW nearshore wind farm in Vietnam is set to become Envision Energy’s largest overseas project to date. Partnering with REE Energy, the firm will deploy 25 advanced wind turbines across the Phu Cuong 1A and 1B sites, aiming for full grid integration by October 2027.

This partnership marks the second major collaboration between the two companies, following the 128 MW Vinh Long project. Edward Hou, Senior Vice President at Envision Energy, emphasized that the project demonstrates how localized technology and lifecycle services create enduring value. REE Energy Managing Director Nguyen Quang Quyen noted that the success of their previous work established the trust necessary to scale operations for this larger, more complex development.
