TransDigm Raises Fiscal 2026 Guidance Following Strong Q3 Growth

TransDigm Group reported a 23% increase in net sales to $2.74 billion for the third quarter ended June 27, 2026, prompting the aerospace component manufacturer to raise its full-year financial outlook. Driven by double-digit gains across its primary market channels, the company maintains strong momentum heading into the fiscal year-end.

Net income for the period rose 10% to $540 million, or $9.39 per share, compared to the same quarter last year. The company’s EBITDA As Defined reached $1.45 billion, reflecting a margin of 52.8%. CEO Mike Lisman attributed the performance to broad-based demand, noting that commercial aftermarket growth hit 17% while defense and commercial OEM sectors also saw consistent expansion. TransDigm continues to deploy its value-driven operating strategy to manage costs despite higher administrative and interest expenses.

Following the quarter, the company signaled further expansion by entering a definitive agreement to acquire Prince & Izant for approximately $1.07 billion. This follows the $2.2 billion acquisition of Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra earlier this year. To support its capital allocation strategy, TransDigm returned $1 billion to shareholders through repurchases during the third quarter, bringing total year-to-date buybacks to $1.8 billion.

Based on current bookings and market performance, TransDigm increased its full-year guidance at the midpoint by $150 million in sales and $100 million in EBITDA As Defined. The company now anticipates full-year net sales between $10.47 billion and $10.55 billion. These projections exclude any financial contribution from the pending Prince & Izant deal, as the firm balances significant liquidity with ongoing integration efforts across its global operations.
