Since its 2020 launch, the Syn-One Test has been utilized by over 4,000 clinicians across the United States to evaluate more than 60,000 patients. The platform identifies phosphorylated alpha-synuclein, a protein marker essential for diagnosing synucleinopathies, including dementia with Lewy bodies and multiple system atrophy. By moving beyond subjective clinical assessments, the test provides a path toward earlier and more accurate disease characterization.
CND Life Sciences Secures Growth Capital to Scale Syn-One Platform
Scottsdale-based CND Life Sciences has closed a growth financing round led by S-Curve Partners to scale its neurodiagnostic technology. The investment aims to broaden the clinical reach of the Syn-One Test, a skin biopsy-based diagnostic tool designed to provide objective markers for complex neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s disease.

Rick Morello, CEO of CND, stated that the fresh capital will accelerate the company’s commercial footprint and support the integration of its diagnostic data into a wider multimodal framework. Daniel Livschutz, founding partner at S-Curve, noted that as new disease-modifying therapies enter the market, the demand for precise diagnostic biomarkers will become increasingly critical for both pharmaceutical development and patient care. The company plans to leverage these funds to deepen its research partnerships and refine its diagnostic capabilities in the evolving landscape of precision neurology.
