Reveal Technology Debuts Farsight 2.0 Mapping Platform for Army Units

Bozeman-based Reveal Technology has released Farsight 2.0, a tactical intelligence platform designed to unify scattered geospatial data into a single, real-time world model. The software update, bolstered by a new $9.5 million Army procurement order, allows field units to access imagery from drones, satellites, and sensors across disparate command networks.

The primary challenge for modern tactical teams is not a lack of imagery, but the fragmentation of data across various sensors and organizations. Garrett Smith, CEO of Reveal Technology, noted that mission planners previously wasted critical time manually aggregating terrain pictures. Farsight 2.0 shifts this burden by automatically fusing authorized data into a continuous model that operates on existing hardware, including the Nett Warrior system.

The update includes autonomous asset tasking, which allows operators to request specific imagery and have the system manage drone collection. Crucially, the platform maintains functionality in disconnected environments, enabling soldiers to perform offline model updates and analysis. Beyond geospatial mapping, users retain access to established features like AI-assisted route planning and line-of-sight assessments. This rollout is supported by a second delivery order under a GSA IDIQ contract, expanding the software’s footprint to additional infantry brigades.
