Amundi Targets Asia Expansion with €150 Billion Inflow Goal
With €473 billion already under management in Asia, Paris-based asset manager Amundi is setting its sights on a new growth phase. The firm aims to secure €150 billion in net inflows across the region by 2028, betting on a rising middle class and deepening demand for retirement and diversification solutions.

Amundi’s roadmap relies on aggressive local scaling through joint ventures and partnerships, particularly in Southeast Asia. The firm intends to increase its regional headcount by 30 per cent to support these efforts and bolster product innovation. CEO of Asia Eddy Wong emphasized that as geopolitical uncertainty persists, regional investors are increasingly prioritizing portfolio diversification, a trend the firm expects to drive long-term institutional interest.
