Maine Jury Awards $23.1 Million in Record Medical Malpractice Case
Aroostook County jurors have awarded $23.1 million to Robert Giordano, a 40-year-old man left permanently paralyzed following a series of diagnostic failures at Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital. The verdict marks the largest non-death medical malpractice award in Maine history, concluding a two-week trial in Caribou.
